Dwelling Place Ministries was established on February 1st, 2004. Its founders, Pastor Mike and Jackie Dunckley have had a vision like Dwelling Place in their hearts for 30 years. It has been their passion to have a ministry that welcomes the Presence of the Lord in their midst on every level. Here are some scriptures that talk about God being our place of habitation and His heart to dwell with us.

Psalm 90:1-2 Lord, You have been our dwelling place and our refuge in all generations [says Moses]. 2 Before the mountains were brought forth or ever You had formed and given birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You are God. 

Psalm 91:9-11 Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, 10 There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. 11 For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

Ephesians 2:19-22 Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens, excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the saints (God’s own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to God’s [own] household. 20 You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone. 21 In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously, and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence of the Lord]. 22 In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit.
